A native New Yorker, I have lived in New Mexico, Tennessee, and Virginia. I am passionate about community engagement, philanthropist extraordinaire, and lifelong animal advocate. With a background in Business Management and experience in the nonprofit sector and higher education my strengths in project management, client and donor relations, communications, outreach, and stewardship I have helped organizations improve their processes, enhance operating efficiency, and increase their capacity to carry out their mission, vision, and purpose. Because I love a challenge, alongside my full time job and my independent consulting business, I earned my bachelor’s degree in business administration with emphasis on communications and marketing from Mary Baldwin College. as well as a certificate in grant writing and management through the University of Richmond.
I am exceptionally skilled in all aspects of business administration – including program management, customer relations, fundraising, website development, content creation, social media marketing, major event planning, and technical project management. I have led multiple technical initiatives, including development of an enhanced website presence and integrated database that has enabled the organization to optimize data collection; more effectively coordinate event registration, track data analytics, and improve financial reporting processes. Additionally, I have served as Director of Alumni Travel, coordinating multiple international excursions.
When I am not working or volunteering, I can be found exercising, spending time with my pets, or traveling; and as a former competitive gymnast, I dedicated several years to teaching tumbling Halestone Dance Studio. I frequently volunteer with causes supporting animals, children, and the arts.
My career is a shining example of foresight, innovation and fun, BUT I want more...
I am actively targeting opportunities to leverage my diverse skill set and experience, and to partner with an organization seeking someone with dedication, experience, and drive.
